Job Description
We are looking for a Data Architect (Senior) for one of our clients, a leader in their field, based in Luxembourg.
Your Role:
Ensure the management of database environments (SQL Server), define and implement IT procedures for the administration and operation of these databases.
Missions:
Architecture:
- Propose SI evolutions to support growth
- Control and ensure the consistency of databases and compliance with used standards
- Participate in quality and security processes
- Regularly conduct technology watch
Engineering:
- Execute part of the department’s technical projects
- Participate in hardware or software installations
- Contribute to the evolution of hardware and software elements of the database systems
- Administer and maintain databases
- Monitor the daily operation of databases
- Manage database backups
- Measure and analyze performance to optimize parameters
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of dashboards
- Automate processes where possible (using tools, scripting, etc.)
- Participate in cross-functional projects
You master the modeling of relational database schemas, as well as MSBI tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure, etc.). You have experience in Datawarehouse and are proficient in report creation.
Technical Support:
- Ensure the reliability and security of databases
- Manage last-level incidents related to database structures
Desired Profile:
- You hold a Bac +4/5 degree in computer science and have a significant experience of at least 8 years in a similar position.
- You are organized, with strong writing and communication skills in French and English. You have good knowledge of IT security.
- You master databases (installation and migration): MS SQL (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), as well as the following technologies and methodologies: T-SQL, SQL Server, ELT/ETL, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Kafka, Agile, Kimball.
- You have strong analytical skills and a critical mindset.
- You demonstrate initiative and autonomy, are naturally proactive, and want to help your team develop their skills.
- English is mandatory; other languages will be considered as a plus.
Conditions and Compensation:
- Contract: Permanent Contract
- Location: Luxembourg
- Compensation: Fixed salary to be defined according to profile and experience
- Working Hours: 40 hours/week
- Benefits: Teleworking possible up to 2 days per week. Advantageous location (South of Luxembourg, near the border, train station, etc.)
